Istanbul – Sade

“Sade” is a hidden place in back streets of Tesvikiye which serves traditional Turkish food.

The place was recommended by our friends. We were amazed with the taste, quality and the service.

We ordered “Kiymali Bafra Pide” which is a dough filled by minced meat, “Bicak arasi” is also dough covered by minced meat, tomotoes, green pepper and onion. There were also some mezzes but I was so starving and couldn’t manage to take photos.

Lastly, we ordered liver. The pieces were cut so thin and grilled with butter. I know you most of you have already said “iyykkkkk” when you hear liver but it is worth to taste. It is so light and yummy.

Prices are a bit above the average. If you want to taste a real Turkish traditional food, this place is a must go restaurant. You have the option to try different food from different regions. Turkish cuisine is more than kebap. There are many kind of food that you can’t imagine.

Here is the link for the restaurant for more information.
